Warren Court

LPC Living approached RAL to design a development of family homes on an undeveloped plot of land off Westcliffe Road in central Southport.

The site at Warren court is entered from Westcliffe Road, a wide, leafy residential street populated by impressive Victorian villas within the Birkdale Village Conservation area. The height of these existing buildings set a precedent for three story dwellings, which resulted in a scheme of 10 semi-detached properties arranged in an attractive arc at the end of Warren Court. The design language employed makes use of similar detailing to the Westcliffe Villas, all typical examples of the Victorian vernacular.
