Warbreck Garden Centre

RAL were approached by Warbreck Garden Centre to design a new restaurant building for their customers.

The proposal was to design a structure that would blend with the existing buildings on site, using natural materials and a neutral palette. The result was the ‘Plantation restaurant’, a weatherboarded, pitched roof building which echoes the form of the surrounding structures. Glazed patio doors lead onto a seated terrace giving the customer a broad view of the garden centre and create an outside/inside environment which allows the plants and flowers to be the stars.
