Stamford Road

A terraced development of two bedroom homes on a linear site in Southport.

This site had planning for a pari of traditional semi detached houses.  RAL were approached to consider how four houses could be accommodated.  The proportions of this site and the planning constraints proved a challenge to work with, but the resulting design that creates a row of unique houses.  Each dwelling is centred around a courtyard, filling each unit with light whilst maintaining privacy. Pleached planting along the access path adds to the sense of seclusion.
