Our client acquired a former redundant bank building in the popular Birkdale village and obtained an agreement with Sainsburys to lease the property for use as a local convenience store.

The building sits in a conservation area and careful negotiations were required with the conservation and planning officers to agree the necessary alterations to the front of the building to make it suitable for retail use. There were significant structural works and internal alterations to make the shell suitable for subsequent fit-out by the retailer.
