Current Vacancies:

RAL is an award winning chartered architectural practice specialising in residential projects. We are looking to recruit an architectural technologist with a solid technical background and design capability who can take a job from brief through to completion.

Our projects are varied; including one-off dwellings, residential, student accommodation, leisure and commercial schemes. We offer a creative studio environment and encourage career development with regularly held CPD seminars organised to keep our team ahead of the curve. Part lll Architect

We are seeking a talented architect with the following skills:

A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally on residential  projects.

Experience of Archicad would be a distinct advantage, however knowledge of a similar programme such as Revit would be acceptable.

Excellent written and communication skills.

Sound technical knowledge and ability to take the lead role on projects and manage them through to completion.

Membership of ARB is essential, RIBA membership would be advantageous.

Ability to produce good quality CGIs from 3D models.

Architectural Technologist

Duties of the successful candidate will include:

  • Creation of Planning, Technical and Construction Drawings.
  • Preparation and presentation of design proposals.
  • Provision of advice on environmental, legal, and regulatory issues.
  • Submission of Planning and Building Regs applications.
  • Participating in the detailed design process.
  • Production of risk assessments.

The following attributes would be advantageous:

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally on residential  projects.
  • Experience of Archicad would be a distinct advantage, however knowledge of a similar programme such as Revit would be acceptable.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Sound technical knowledge and ability to take the lead role on projects and manage them through to completion.
  • Membership of CIAT is advantageous.
  • Ability to produce good quality CGIs from 3D models.
